G-Star Draws Around 200,000 Visitors

By Chun Go-eun (info@koreatimes.com): G-Star, an annual trade show for the computer and video games, has reportedly drawn around 200,000 visitors during the four-day event, which ended on Sunday. The show's secretariat said on Sunday more than 150,000 people came to the event until Saturday, a 1.5 percent rise from the previous year. On the first day of the event, around 34,000 visitors -- a 3 percent rise from last year -- flocked to the show. A number of middle and high school students are thought to have come as they did not have to go to school on Thursday when the nation's college entrance exam took place. The trend continued on the second and third days. On Friday, 43,000 visitors came and on Saturday, 74,000 people visited, 4.6 percent and 5.8 percent increases respectively from the last year's show. As to export and business consulting, around 2,000 buyers visited a business to business pavilion, a 23 percent rise from the previous year. Source: Article
